Our local Mothers of Twins Club (MOTC) does a monthly Mom's Night Out. This month was our annual "Favorites Party". Have you ever been to a "Favorites Party"? I just attended my first!
So. Much. Fun!
This is how it worked.....Everyone in attendance brings their favorite item to the party. There was a limit of $5.00 per item and you bring 5 of them (so your spending $25.00). Each person talks about the item they brought. Why they love it and can't live without it! (This was fun on so many levels...the expressions....the descriptions.....the oohing an ahhing....HILARIOUS!!) You in turn, leave with 5 items.

My friend Melissa (we went to high school together).
Our twins are 4 months apart and will also be going to school together!
So, now I am dying to have my very own Favorites Party! My mind is racing!

ReplyDeleteAnd I think I'd fit right in with you and Margie...I love Starbucks AND Post-It notes! :) I'm developing an addiction to Sharpie pens with an ultra-fine point, too. They come in so many colors...I would love to have the whole rainbow! I don't mean to set you onto something else, but if you love stationery stuff, you should try them. :)
MANDYE!!! I have them in a rainbow selection! One of my best friends got them for me as a preggers gift! So awesome! they are party of my organizing kit (which I will blog about one day)!
